You’ve already tried out Wordle. Perhaps you’ve played Gordle (the NHL version), Nerdle, Octordle, Wordle, and many other games. But here’s one for all you NBA fans out there, Poeltl.
Peolti Wordle, a popular online game, has recently become a huge hit, and it appears that the NBA is getting in on the action with its version of the popular game. Poeltl, meet the NBA Wordle Game.
We’re not sure what that has to do with the San Antonio Spurs’ Jakob Poeltl—perhaps his name was chosen because of its unusual spelling or rhyme with Wordle. Regardless, the new game is just as exciting as the original and is a must-have for any NBA fan.Â
The game is straightforward. It would help if you determined who the player in the shadow is. When you choose a player, the system checks to see if you chose the right team, conference, division, position, height, age, and number.
Poeltl NBA Game
According to Americans magazine Poeltl is a game that is similar to Wordle but aimed at NBA fans. Each Poeltl is chosen at random from a pool of NBA players from around the world. Poeltl is a free online word game where players have eight chances to guess the correct NBA player name. This game was created by “DUNKTOWN,” which publishes new Poeltl NBA Players puzzles every day, and you can find the answer to today’s NBA player guess here.
Poeltl Wordle Gameplay
The player is given five blanks to fill out with a five-letter word. If the letter returns green, it is the correct letter in the right position. Gray indicates that the letter is not in the word and should be avoided in future guesses, whereas yellow indicates that the letter is in the word but the incorrect location. The player keeps guessing until all of their guesses are green.Â
How to play?
- If you have eight guesses, try any current NBA player!
- Green in any column indicates a match!
- The yellow in the team column suggests that the mystery player used to be a team member but no longer is.
- A partial match to the mystery player’s position is indicated in yellow in the position column.
- If you get stuck, enable silhouette mode!
- Every day, a new unknown player!
Poeltl Ultimate
Poeltl is currently limited to one game per day. You cannot play a previous match on the live game website once the game has been reset. Although the Wordle variant is popular among NBA fans, it has yet to gain its clone, Poeltl Ultimate, which allows you to play more than once a day.
As previously stated, you cannot play more than once per day on a browser; however, if you want to replay a game after you have exhausted your chances, you have four options.
Method 1
If you play in an incognito window of your browser, you can play the same game (a challenge on a given day) as often as it takes to figure it out on your own. To make it work, close the window and start a new incognito window after each game.
Method 2
Using different browsers is another way to replay a Poeltl. Because you can only take a challenge (win or lose) once daily on a browser, switch to a different browser to continue your search for the answer. Once again, this option allows you to replay the same challenge on a specific date rather than starting a new one.
Method 3
Because you can only play one Game daily, you can only take a challenge once on a browser. For example, if you try to play on a different device, such as a mobile phone, tablet, or computer, you can retake the same Poeltl challenge on the same date.Â
Method 4
Retaking older Poeltl challenges is another way to play a game for more than one day.Â
Although there is no official Poeltl archive to this end, you can still play older Poeltl games using the following methods.
- Changing your computer’s system date to a previous date,
- changing your phone’s system date to an earlier date.
- Accessing a Poeltl challenge via the Internet Archive’s Way Back Machine
None of the methods described above will provide with an infinite supply of Poeltl games, nor will the challenges be novel or untested. The only way to play unlimited Poeltl games right now is to retake a daily challenge or replay previous challenges.Â
